McBain Studio Returns To Bayou City Festival

San Antonio, TX - October 8th and 9th marks the downtown version of the Bayou City Festival in Houston, Texas. After a 10 year absence, Dan McBain of Robert D. McBain Studio has made the call (and the cut) to return to the very popular event between Tranquility Park and the Public Library Downtown.

The historic event started in the Montrose neighborhood decades ago. Now the art venue has grown to an enormous downtown celebration that can entertain without losing its focus on presenting the finest in art to the Houston community.

The acrylic work that has been produced in the last six years since the studio was moved to San Antonio has not been shown in Houston. It will be interesting to see the reation on the street to our new look. And of course we are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones this fall.
