McBain graduated from the University of Corpus Christi with a bachelor’s degree in art, specializing in painting.

The latest venture at the studio is a new company called Sunset Road Fitness Photography. Years of experience with professional models for his figurative paintings has evolved into this format that helps athletes, trainers, and life models develop their portfolios for advertizing their businesses, or just preserving the bragging rights of their accomplishments.
